Nishijinori, as one of a traditional industry was established as a luxury textile in Heian period (more than 1200 years ago), and in particular Obi (the sash belt for Kimono) has an important role for dressing Kimono.
Hattori Orimono has a special technique in the making of string called Hikibaku, which
is a method of making string by cutting thin paper attached to real gold or silver. With the use of Hattori Orimono textiles, and fusing GENETO design, a mobile in an art form is created.
The string (Hikibaku) reflects brilliantly in the light by its natural movement flowing like a jewel in the room.
